Pamela Bateman along with her husband David live on an organic farm in Northern California.  They grow hundreds of roses for their own enjoyment and are surrounded by acres of old almond trees and organic feed crops.  They love the country life that they share with their dog Pip and several chickens.

They are lucky enough to buy almost all of their food locally and participate in many agriculture events that take place in the beautiful Capay Valley.

He rises and begins to round

He drops the silver chain of sound

Of many links without a break

In chirrup, whistle, slur and shake

All intervolved and spreading wide

Like water-dimples down a tide
